This project in suburban Doncaster East accommodates 8 two-storey luxury townhouses and maximises a site which was previously had two house lots.
Each townhouse has a private underground garage, accessible from a common basement entry. This allowed for an exclusive pedestrian ground plane with secluded private courtyards as well as common areas. The massing and composition of the buildings is such that the presentation to the street is one of two buildings in line with the pre-existing lot width pattern of the area.
Thoughtfully composed each residence offers clever spaces with indoor and outdoor connecting seemlessly. Our design approach was to create open interior floor plans coupled with generous open space, refined detailing, crafted design and a materiality of light & dark finishes enriching the exterior and interior spaces.
